About Chris Thwaites
Dr Chris Thwaites has worked as an IT Developer for over 20 years, and has owned and run BlueBay Computing Ltd, a successful IT consultancy for the last 14 of those years.
As a contractor, he has worked on a wide variety of projects using varied technologies, and it is this breadth of experience and project management that means he is able to recommend the most appropriate approach and technology for any specific project.
He also understands that there is far more to a successful IT project than merely the technology, and is always thinking about how the project can add value to the business, rather than just how to fulfil the project functional specifications.
Every project Chris has managed or worked on has been brought in on time within budgetary guidelines, and has consistently surpassed the clients' expectations. This includes major work for the UK Government, as well as UK high street banks, and pharmaceutical monitoring applications where special emphasis was focussed on security, accuracy and reliability.
Chris isn't a rocket scientist, but he does have a PhD in Nuclear Physics.
